Founder and Lead Mentor
Mentor training and Team Building strategies with faith-based and community organizations and is a Certified Christian Lay Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). As Director of the Oasis Family Life Center, a 501C-3 of Living Water Ministries in Tucson, Arizona, he trained mentors from Faith-based and community organizations. Collaborative partnerships were with the Pima County Juvenile Court Center, The Tucson Unified School District, 3- Alternative High Schools, Goodwill Industries and Pima County one-stop career center.
As a Mentor/Life Coach trainer and in collaboration with Pima County Re-entry Network (YEARN), as a Design Team Member, developed a mentor training (Best practice curriculum) Handbook that was submitted for review and approved by the U.S. Dept. of Labor in November 2009. Rick Served for 27 yrs. as a Counselor, Staff Trainer and Senior Parole & Probation Officer with the Arizona Dept. of Corrections Community Services Division. Rick currently resides in Greensboro, N.C. and serves as a Mentor volunteer with Step-up Greensboro and with City/helps Organization of Greensboro, which advocates community and Faith-based collaboration. Rick serves as Chair Elder at We Are One Christian Fellowship in Greensboro.
